Droid 2 is using the Ti OMAP 3630 CPU (Cortex A8 core), with 1gHZ clock frequency, and 512MB of memory. Compared with Droid (Milestone) which is using a Ti OMAP 3430 CPU, 550MHz clock and 256MB of memory, Droid 2 has made great progress, GPU is using PowerVR SGX530, so it has made good performance in multimedia.
