How to convert AVCHD Lite to MP4?

Step 1. Load AVCHD Lite video to Pavtube HD Video Converter.
Free Download AVCHD Video Converter, install and launch the program. Once you run it, click "Add" to load the source AVCHD Lite MTS files. When the files are loaded into the program, you could view file information such as codec, bitrate, frame rate, etc in the preview window.
Step 2. Select output format for converting AVCHD to MP4.
Click on "Format", and select output format from the drop-down list. H.264/AVC and MPEG-4 encoded MP4 formats are available. If you would like to play the AVCHD Lite recordings on portable players like iPad, iPhone 4, iPod, PSP, Archos, Zune, PocketPC, etc, simply follow the corresponding profile group and select customized MP4 format. Step 3. Customize MP4 format for your player.
Click "Settings" button to adjust video and audio parameters. Notice that you can not "convert up" video quality. If you selected HD Video in Step 2, we advise you to adjust the A/V parameters to be the same with source AVCHD Lite footage so as to bear least quality loss at proper file size. You may check the A/V parameters of original video in preview panel, and it will display the video information when you select an item. In case it displays no information, please click the "<" sign.
Step 4: Click "Convert" button to start converting AVCHD Lite to MP4 format.
After the above steps are done, you can click "Convert" button to start converting AVCHD Lite to MP4 format. And you can click "Open" button to get the generated MP4 files for play back.
Tips:
1. Higher bitrate leads to higher video quality and bigger file size.
2. You may trim the video to desired length in Editor interface, just select the video you'd like to trim and click "Edit" menu.
3. To join MTS files together, simply select the files and check the box of "Merge into one file" before conversion starts.
