How to Log and Transfer Panasonic GH2 AVCHD/MTS to FCP for Editing? Import/Convert Panasonic GH2 AVCHD Lite to ProRes 422 for FCP Editing on Mac OS X Lion Through Google search, I found many question about "How to import HD Camcorder AVCHD to Final Cut Pro?" Such as: Question 1: Editing GH2 Video in Final Cut Pro? It has been at least 6 years since I have done any video at all. I am tempted to get a GH2 purely for its video capabilities. I have Final Cut Pro and could upgrade it to Final Cut Studio. I also bought a GF1 the other day and have played with the video which appears to be in an unfamiliar format but which plays on my mac with VLC player. But my question is this - what do I need to do with the video from a GH2 in order to edit it in Final Cut? Oh, I am in the UK and only deal with PAL.
